Spring Normal University (SNU) is a pre-service and in-service teacher training institution which is dedicated to two teacher-training pathways-
- providing online learning platform for the continuous learning, and
- conducting workshops for the capacity building of the in-service and pre-service teachers in Myanmar.
In these ways, we sustain our teachers’ professional development and preparing for the teaching profession which is in demand now
and ensure for supplying the demand of the teacher shortage in the post conflict era.

To run as an autonomous reliable research-based institution for the right to education of pre- and in- service teachers by providing quality education service during interim, transition and federal democracy education periods
Mission
Providing financial and technical support to the teachers in Universities of Education Resuming right to education for the CDM and vulnerable pre-service students Supplying trainings on continuous professional development of CDM teachers and volunteer teachers Conduct research to address the issues in education Collaborate partner organization to contribute quality teacher education provision Building teacher education capacity to the requested education institutions
